About infinity Peak Performance

Never become a slave to training, at infinity Peak Performance our focus with you is on maximising you potential while sustaining all other key aspects of life such as family, work and social life, a true balance so as to have your best performance come race day.

Aim to reveal your full potential, identifying the non-negotiable aspects of life, the things that matter to you, then develop a bespoke personalised training plan to incorporate training into your day to day life.

Chasing training hours and sessions is unsustainable, can lead to reduced motivation and can mean you reach your start line, lacking confidence due to missed sessions with that underachievement mindset.   Your peak performance comes from having a balance of work, family, friends, nutrition, hydration and recovery time in partnership with your training plan.

Whether your aiming to complete your first race or focused on racing world championship infinity Peak Performance has the recipe for your success.

infinity Peak Performance Coach Sean McDonnell

Sean McDonnell

I aim to provide a truly bespoke service to all of my athletes, delivering training plans, analyzing your performance, adjusting the plan as life gets in the way of training - a truly personal service to each athlete.

I  will be in touch on a regular basis to catch up with you and discuss your progress giving you advice on how best to prepare for your goal or event while gaining an insight into what your day to day life looks like. This allows me as your coach to make better and more informed decisions when prescribing training.

I believe in a balanced coach-athlete partnership, catering for your individual needs and preferences, as opposed to saying this is what you must do.  It is important to, that as an athlete you take ownership of your training and have input into what types of training you enjoy.

I ask for two key things from my athletes:

  • Be consistently-consistent
  • Give me feedback after each session

The key for success in my eyes between the athlete and coach is strong communication as the data only paints half the picture, feedback on each session is crucial to help maximise your potential as an athlete, communication  informs training decisions, increases awareness of fatigue levels and identifies those crucial work and life stressors which impact on your performance.

I believe that all aspects of life need to work in harmony together,  this helps to keep consistency within training allowing you to approach your race in the best possible physical and mental condition so you can reveal your full potential on the big day.
